Designed by someone who actually plays.
I started LoveHate out of pure frustration.
As a competitive tennis player from the age of 12, I was tired of choosing between looking good and being able to move. And it all came to a head when I was fined a point in the middle of a USTA match because my shorts didn't have pockets.
So I decided I would build a brand for the athletes like myself.
I built the dress I actually wanted on court — pockets that work, shorts that stay put (or come off, because sometimes you want options), and a silhouette that flatters without getting in your way. I pitched it at business competitions in college, won enough funding to get my first production run made, and LoveHate was born.
The name says everything. That love-hate relationship with the sport. The early mornings, the double faults, the rolled ankles, and also the addiction of it. You love it enough to hate it sometimes, but you keep coming back.
While I started with a tennis dress, we have so much more planned. Stay tuned. XOXO.
